Best Bitorrent Client?

Hey Guys,

I'm using Bitorrent++ and it's pretty damn good, although sometimes it stops downloading and sits at 0.0KB/s and I heard that if you try it in other clients it will work fine. Any idea whats causing that, and/or a better client to use.

You must have some really fast connection, for us average DSL users if we were to be downloading 40 things at once you wouldnt even get 2KB per download. With 100 downloads on KLite less than 1KB. That would take months to get any large files.

OK, I DLed Azureus, this client is pretty pimp.

Right now, I'm only DLing 6 things and I limited my UL to 5k/s

and my combined DL speed hit 240k/s

looks very cool

i dont know why you guys use bt stuff.. talk about an easy way to find who's illegally sharing files... most programs give the IP of all the users downloading/transfering... makes it a cake walk for riaa/mpaa/software companies to just log on and see who's stealing their stuff.

if isp is willing to give out customer info

and bt is useful for legal distrobution, however its probably true quite a bit of traffic are illegal stuff

i grab a lot of fansubs using bt and its much more efficient than irc or other methods (although edonkey isn't bad either)

it may be used for legal distribution stuff as well.. but thats not what people are concerned about.. lets say i work for adobe.. and I log onto a bt file site and click on a link for photoshop CS... as soon as it connects to the peers, i get a list of 40 ips that are either sharing to me, or retrieving from me... bang.. i got 40 people illegaly sharing my software... and I don't have to do anything fancy to get their IP...since it's right there in front of me. same for movies, music...etc. I can understand that some things are shared legaly.. like some software downloads have BT links, but obviously people won't go after those.. they'd want to go after the people sharing stuff illegaly.

and FYI, you can be busted just as easily in every single other p2p network so your argument is pointless.

stop downloading warez and you'll have nothing to worry about.

i don't think there's a need for calling names. i also don't think he's complaining about anything, just saying that it's as easy to get you on the BT network as any other network, which is the same thing you said. he seems to have said it in a nicer way though.

ABC, I've tried other and their insane resource hogs. ABC seems to use a lot less for me.

do other clients use even more?! lol...i haven't tried others except for the original which didn't work for me at all..but i'm going to try shadow's soon

many bittorrent clients open take up way too much ressources.
