Let monitor go to powersave while playing video in Chrome(Flash/Silverlight)

So do you guys know of anyway to turn off the behavior where if you have a video or stream playing in Chrome (Flash/Silverlight) that keeps the monitors awake even when the system is locked?

 

Sometimes I  leave a stream open and lock the system, and the screens will never power down. There has to be a way to bypass this.

Might have found out it is because an audio stream is open, trying this - http://www.quantexzone.com/index.php/guides/software/86-xfi-ddl-sleep

There may be a setting in power options if you're using windows

Turn off the Display in 'x' minutes or something similar

(Or under screensaver)

That's how I am doing with the movies for mine.

Yeah that does not work... My monitor sometimes shutoff, most of the time it doesn't.  It's like a glitch or something.

Yeah so powercfg -requests did show that the audio stream device is what was keeping the monitors awake. i was able to use the link above and make an override, and now it works.
