Google Calender iphone/Outlook syncing issue

HI all,

 

I use google mail and used to have google calendar syncing with outlook and my iphone.

 

I know get the following error;

 

Google Calendar Sync: error syncing your calendar. Error code : 2016.

 

Any ideas?

Is Google Calendar Sync an app? Having gone and had a look around, they all seem to refer to it as an app. It also looks like it stopped working back in August 2014, and people are being advised to look for alternative syncing options.

I have no personal suggestions as I haven't encountered the problem before, but you can check this site for possible alternatives. It seems to depend on what you need for your syncing purposes.

Are you adding your Google account in the Settings app on your iPhone?

 

That does contacts, calendars and email.
