brickleberry-season-2-episode-2-the-come

The Daniel Tosh-produced animated comedy Brickleberry will not be renewed for a fourth season, Comedy Central announced today. The just-ended third season will be its last.

The series, which has been a big hit with men under 24, nevertheless took a 25% hit in ratings in its third season, which ended in November.

Deadline, who broke the news, described Brickleberry as follows:

Brickleberry, created/executive produced by Waco O

Surprised it lasted that long, However

Not surpriseds at this, since it originally aired at 10:30 I believe and the third season it started airing at midnight, so duh of course the viewership/raitings are going to go down.

No it was still right after Tosh every Tuesday. @midnight was their midnight show all year last year, and it's getting killer ratings :p

Yea, I was legitimately surprised to see if survived to the third season. It always felt more than a little forced, though it had its good moments.

Anyway, I'm generally annoyed when shows are canceled between seasons, often leaving the series dead on a cliffhanger (I don't know if this is the case here, but it is frequently). Contracts should provide for a clause to allow one final episode upon not being renewed (kinda like Serenity)... shows need closure.

Same. Tosh.0 was losing its appeal, at least with me. My wife claimed to like the show, but stopped watching after I did. None of these shows are very good, but at least America's Funniest Videos got in before YouTube. Tosh.0 got cloned by Nickelodeon or MTV (I forget which, but does it matter these days?) and both of them got undercut by Equals 3 (is that even still a thing?). So Tosh.0 was serving up the best of =3 and then its leftovers. The three of them cannibalized each other, and I didn't think any of the hosts were very funny.

As for Brickleberry, it was like a mashup of South Park and Parks and Rec, but not as funny as either. Wife and I watched the first season, but abandoned it after (and that might have been when we abandoned Tosh.0 as well). And then my wife got real big into anime, so we didn't go back.

    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
    • Windows 95 offered the ability to add and edit the right click menus, on a per file type basis. This feature seems to be missing in the new file explorer. Are they bringing it back as a "new" feature?
    • It's nearly time to replace my aging Founders Edition 3080, it doesn't OC as nicely as it used to and it's running around 10c warmer than it did when I first bought it.  I don't have budget for much more than what I spent on the 3080 and locally, that means the best GPU I can manage is a 9070XT. On this basis I have a few questions: 1. At present I don't use ray tracing, if this was to change, would this GPU be an issue? 2. How does it compare on a performance basis? 3. Are the drivers worse or better than those for nVidia? 4. Linux support, is it there? 5. Anything else I should be aware of if I were to make this change? 6. Is it a good idea or shall I try and keep the 3080 a little longer.
    • What OS is that? It looks a bit like Mac OS but the command line suggests it isn't, either way I like it!
