And onto the subject in hand if you will.

I dont fancey it all that much, i mean the change is so minescule that i wouldnt mind either way but i do prefer the surrounds on the Web, Images, Groups, Directory, News I helps to seperate & distinguish between the sections.

With no surrounds it would probably take a few more milliseconds for my eyes to catch onto the sections. but hey whats a few mimiseconds between friends :ninja:

My personal recomendation would be to have something like this:

Hey! I thought this thread was about flaming. I guess...while you are talking about the new look, I like your idea. The color coded tabs would be a nice change...and still keep the Google design nice and simple.

leave this guy alone. his google looks different (imo, sweet) i'm jealous! he's not a spammer, he just wanted to comment on the new look of google on him comp. as for the look, i think it's awesome. i hope they change all google to look like that.

Didn't anyone exept one321 and I read MikeCoz's post? It is confirmed that google is trying a new look.. Why is everyone so mad? Just because you cant se the new one doesnt mean that alero hasnt got the right to show the small group of people how can se it googles new look.. From the screenshots I can say it it looks better and I am looking forward to seeing the new one for myself...

Its because they're limiting it. Not everyone will see this. Either you will or you won't apparently... that is, at least until they make the decision to go with the new look or not. Then everyone will see it :)
