Bring any company back from the dead thread....

You have one company to bring back from the dead....

...what one would you bring back to life?

Inspired by the revival of the old ghettoblaster boombox manufacturer named Aiwa,,,

I would bring back 3dfx because they made awesome video cards!

I agree.

I never got a chance to buy the card back then and stupid store employe told me to buy a nvidia TNT card,

too bad I couldnt have bought both

I want to go back in time and smack him.

I'd undo Tonka's acquisition by Hasbro, so we can get GoBots again, rather than having the rare homage in Transformers . . .

You never said it has to be technology-oriented . . .

A lot of those employees went over to Nvidia when they bought them. The Nvidia Geforce 5800 Ultra was the first cards that had involvement from the 3DFX team. It was a very very loud card.. They soon made a video making fun of their own video card.. lol It was hard to get and was only available if you had pre-ordered it because at the last minute, they canceled the card, but a handful of people got it..

With that said, I wish 3DFX never go bought out, even though I'm an Nvidia fan boy.. I really loved 3DFX and it seems like they were always coming up with crazy ideas and pushing towards the next step.. Definitely the leader in Video Cards.. To bad we never got to see the Voodoo 5 6000..

I still have a few of 3Dfx cards in my storage and maybe 1 or two of voodoo cards.

The original 'Kenner' Lines of Star Wars Toys and Figures

So that's another Hasbro acquisition that might be good to undo! Although Star Wars does still get its own toyline at least. And I think Hasbro does have access to the original molds.

    • Yup, broke my comp… again. its times like this when I regret AMD. This just never happens on NV.
    • Huh? You're delusional calling the Steam Deck dead. It is so successful that it has sold out multiple times. Even after the price hike this year it sold out again with 24 hours of being back in stock. The demand is real and has not died down even after four years.
