I know... I've barely got into reading it. look forward to playing it.

I don't know what I just watched, but I feel if I watch anymore there will be some sort of subliminal message that instructs me to execute my co-workers.

Excuse me, I'm just off to find my tin foil hat

skimmed through Parts 1, 2, and 3 on youtube. sure gets creepy, but whats the point?

I dunno, I just thought it to be different so I shared it   Play it completely and feed us back

haha so true........

Trying to find the source file to play myself rather than watch the video. It probably won't be worth playing - the link is dead and it might take a lot of time to get it back up - but I want something that will concern me and there has yet to be a horror since Silent Hill 2 that has done such a thing. Well, maybe Amnesia : Dark Descent. Had to stop playing that for a while, but not as long as the break that I took on Silent Hill 2.

Comments say that there is nothing illegal about what happens in the game, so I'd be excited to play it and experience it first hand. If only I could find a working link!

Just read this:

That should be raising warning signs with me, but it's just getting me more interested.

there was a download link on reddit? here:

>>16311132

the game allegedly came from now dead onion link

>Found this game on a deep web link and any information on it will be greatly appreciated. Downloaded it a month or so ago and started playing recently. I call it Sad Satan because the download was called that, there isn't actually a title screen or anything else to suggest a name so I'm just calling it that. Strange feel to the game and there doesn't seem to be any aim. I just wandered around and got teleported into different sections. Nothing really happened but it has an odd feeling about it and kinda freaks me out. There is more to come on this, I have a few more videos recorded and the game just keeps getting more bizarre. I don't think I finished the game but I did delete it because it was getting a bit strange, and a note pad file that went along with the game kept appearing on my desktop each time I played the game with some gibberish messages.

If you want to try the game use Tor and download the game here :

there was a download link on reddit?

Not sure. If there was then it linked to a .onion site, and having tried to access that - as have many others - I can confirm that the link isn't there anymore. Hence the quest to find the file!

Ah that sucks. I was just getting excited watching the video.

from reddit:

elp this post reach out! The YouTube uploader of the videos was rad and put this post link in the descriptions and Kotaku writer Patricia Hernandez linked it on the article also! This is great but the more people that see this the better! We still have audio to decipher, connections to make, and download links to find! Keep in mind, I'm not a master at this type of stuff. I'm just a kid trying to do something almost productive during his summer so I can't guarantee any expertise here!

Ah that sucks. I was just getting excited watching the video.

I think that for this evening I can either stay up for a reeeeally long time - I have things to do tomorrow and am in Europe - and hope that the guy is in the US and will create a mirror somewhere soon, or I'll just have to deal with the videos for the evening. :(

Damn the Internet for getting my hopes up and dashing them so instantly! Wait, why is this surprising to me?

creepy read, that this game could have been done for murders

These seem very threatening. Now we can assume they are just to scare the player, however it is possible that this game does something to your computer. Frightening.

Also, 5 victim? Is it possible that this was made specifically for the fifth downloader and 4 other people have downloaded this game but paid little attention? Possibly.

There were 5 victims of the *Satanists of Ash Tree Close". This shows a strong connection to satanism, and also to child abuse. Another connection to Stairway to Heaven, is Jimmy Page was linked to the Ash Tree Close controversy. This really shows sources coming together

Dammit, Imma make a reddit user and PM all who say have played it so they can send me the file.

    • Yes, it was amusing at the time because even then dbrand was well known for stealing the designs of products from other companies. That’s what they do.
    • Didn’t Dbrand once complain that Casetify was ripping off their designs a well? seems pretty bad of them to try and get around Valve’s copyright this way with that in mind.
    • Dbrand thought they could get away with this Steam Machine case, Valve disagreed by David Uzondu Image via Dbrand Dbrand has cancelled its highly anticipated Companion Cube enclosure for the Valve Steam Machine, which it teased back in November of last year with a concept render and sign-up page, because it did not ask Valve for permission first before manufacturing the case. According to Dbrand, it took the "backwards approach" of building the product first before asking for permission from the copyright holder. Seven months of work went into the project, requiring over a thousand engineering hours from the design team. Workers developed forty-four sets of injection molding tools, making a unique mold for each sub-component of the crate. When the Companion Cube went live on Monday last week, it, according to Dbrand, quickly became the second-fastest-selling product in the company's fifteen-year history, racking up orders for hundreds of thousands of units. Customers eagerly bought the $129.95 deluxe edition or the bare-bones $99.95 version, which the manufacturer cheekily branded as the "Poverty Cube". It was around this time that the legal eagles at Valve descended on the accessory maker with a formal demand. The developer pointed out that the iconic block design remains protected intellectual property from the game Portal, so unlicensed sales had to stop. Dbrand said that all its pleas to salvage the project with the Valve team, including proposals to run a properly licensed release under official terms "with their blessing", fell on deaf ears, so it had no choice but to obey and remove every trace of the product from the internet. If you bought the enclosure, the company said that banks will process your refund by the end of this week, but if it still hasn't arrived in your account by then, you should not hesitate to contact support. The Steam Machine itself is a high-performance console that Valve designed directly to bring PC gaming into the living room. It was announced on 12th November 2025 (the same day Dbrand announced the Cube) and runs on the Linux-based SteamOS, the same OS that powers the Steam Deck. As for the price, due to the shortage of memory and storage chips, the hardware cost landed much higher than people were expecting, starting at $1,049 for the 512 model (without a controller) or $1,128 with the new gamepad. The premium 2 TB model pushes those prices even higher, selling at $1,349 for the standalone console and hitting $1,428 if you want the bundle.
