You really can't fault them, those shots look incredibly realistic. I think I made a similar mistake looking at some shots from Project CARS.

Oops I got it around the wrong way. I thought Nissan were claiming they took them! Yeah it has a photo mode.

You're right it does have photo mode, same as inFamous and a few other PS4 games.

You can get some pretty good shots out of pretty much any modern driving game's photo mode.
