Palemoon bans Adblock Plus

Interesting Palemoon browser now bans adblock plus over 'security or stability issues' ... anyone else had this?

I gave up on PaleMoon a while back so I'm not 100% on this, but don't you need to be using a different version of the extension nowadays?

Funny, up popped a box saying Palemoon had deactivated adblock plus while I was on amazon .. maybe a good thing in the end as the pause & subsequent browser rage made me realise I didn't need the item I was going to shell out on ..

Good for them!  Adblock Plus has caused a lot of memory and stability issues in the past.  uBlock is a much better alternative right now.

Switched to µBlock a while back too.

Switched to uBlock Origin some time ago.

EDIT: Also use Cyberfox - better IMO

palemoon makes the users dick the useragent becuase they want people to become activists and shove "user choice" down webmaster's throats. eff them
