Compress videos to a specified file size?

Question

I have 3 video files that are 50 MB, 100 MB and 150 MB.

I want to compress each to 25 MB each.

I understand the larger videos will sacrifice more quality.

Is there any software that can compress videos to a specified file size?

Yes. There are quite a few. MeGUI can do it, Handbrake, and a few others.

I am most familiar with MeGUI.

MeGUI

AVISynth

1. Download both.
2. Install AVISynth.
3. Extract MeGUI
4. Run MeGUI.

Search for 1 Click Encode, and where it says "file size" just put the size you want. Honestly, cutting the size by over 75% is going literally BUTCHER the video. It may not even be watchable.

There are multiple ways to reduce a video size.. If your video is 1920x1080 and you resize it say 480x270 the file is going to be much smaller.

Do you want to shrink it and keep it 1920x1080 or can you reduce to say 240x135

I wasn't sure if he was talking resolution, or file size. If he is talking resolution, I strongly suggest to use the same ratio.

yeah lack of detail question.. Yeah I could have a video that is 10GB and reduce it to 25MB if you wanted.. So its either going to be crap or really small resolution ;)
