  1. 1. Do you think OS X should be renamed "macOS" to make it more in line with Apple's other OS names?

It IS MacOS. We(and Apple) like to shorthand it OSX, just like we did with 'XP', but that doesn't negate the fact that it's still MacOS.

No, official it has been OS X for a couple of years now (since 10.8 Apple dropped the "Mac" if I'm not wrong).

Just call it XI and be done. But seriously they should have changed this when they ran out of cat names.

There were some cat names that were never used, such as "Cougar" and "Ocelot." Although jumping to "Lion" seemed to signal the end sooner rather than later.

Most people I know read it as it is and call is "OS X" (Oh Ess Ecks) or type it "OSX" (Without the space)

When I say "OS 10", they usually get baffled or confused!

I don't really think a name change is important as OS X has usually always been referred to by it's sub title name (Leopard, Lion, Yosemite, El Capitan etc)
