His teeth will give me nightmares  :blink:

His teeth!? ROTFL Dude!!!

Did you see the teeth of that 18 year old girl from Poland? Geezus H C on a pogo stick... She needs a Fuoro wash for those fricken teeth :o :blink:

She really scared me!!! :unsure:

the Polish judge who prentended to be a smart-arse by talking fast and ending all his sentences with "thank you!" really ****ed me off. i bet all the judges were swearing at him, but that probably got edited out.

Yeah the Polish judge was a total flaming idiot, but the US judge got my blood boiling...

What a pompous prick he was... When he put down the Canadian singer I was ready to fly over and kick that luser in the nuts. :crazy:

To me:

1. The Canadian Entry... Sang "He's not heavy, he's my brother" was the best.

2. The Australian Entry... Guy Sebastian

3. The heavy rocker dude! :punk: (Y)

4. -> Whatever... All lusers...

No offense but the Canadian dude sucks. There is no bias here as I am Canadian and still hate him. I think your pick of Guy Sebastian is a little bias too am I right? And which rocker dude I thought a few of them had a rock flavour?

I give up...

What makes it worse is that they're going to screen that "American Idol" here in Australia! (N)

Actually it should be called "US Idol" not "American Idol"....

1. American Idol - From South America too? I think not... And Canada has it's own Idol show and it's on the North American Continent... So why for the love of all that is good is it called "American Idol?" :blink: Makes as much sense as a turd in a punch bowl to me...

2. What do Australians care? We have our own Idol show... (Y) And our TV broadcasts are full enough of dead boring US shows with the same old "stars" (N) :x

The US commonly refer to themselves and are refered to as Americans. They are the "United States of America" thus the only name they can be refered to as is americans. I understand your point of view but over here in the west it's commonly accepted. I guess we have to watch it so now so do you. :p

I'm through with the following shows:

* . Idol

* . Island

* . Resort

* . Survivor

* . Big Brother

They all suck equally... And sadly it seems 2004 will be the year of reality TV.. Wake me up in 2005...

[* = wildcard... Remember DOS?] :/

he looked like crap

:laugh:

that reminds me of the feedback that Ian Dickinson (Australian judge) gave him:

you have the voice of an angel, but a face of a hobbit
and after he won, on backstage...
we should congratualate the hobbit, he will be jumping on middle earth tonight

:laugh:

I agree that the tv producers must have been smoking some bad weed when they decided to screen American Idol 3.

Why?

Well what is the point of the Idol Series????

The whole point behind the Idol series is that you can vote for who you want to win, like a popularity contest. Australians wont have the ability to vote in American Idol 3, so why the heck would you want to watch it? There is no interactivity what so ever.

Plus hey are going to make people sick of Idol shows sooner, which means that the next Australian Idol show wont be as popular as it could have been. Thats what I hate about channel TEN, they grab somthing and squeze and squeze and squeze till they get all the ratings possible out of a series. They dont seem to have any foresight at all.

Maybe this opens the possibility of an online vote. That would be cool because then it would be free! :D

Please keep in mind the "U.S." judge was actually British, and came over to do American Idol (after doing the British Pop Idol) as he could be so antagonistic / attention-getting / good for ratings overall. (Also believe he's technically one of the creators of the general "Idol" thing.) It's almost quite funny seeing how he even handles people in audition stage and how they tell him what a troll he is to his face.

Yes, Simon Cowell, the "U.S." judge, is pretty darn hostile and riles people (as much as he can just be brutally "honest"), but he's technically British and was a big ratings getter in the U.S. for being generally interesting and not just cookie-cutter. Certainly not a guy out for international diplomacy, but hey, that's why he's not an ambassador. ANYway....

Don't bash Survivor. It must be doing something right to be in its 8th season (in the US). It's all the other networks faults for making lame spinoffs of Survivor.(Paradise Island???)Hey, do you guys have Amazing Race in Australia?

I think the ratings were pretty accurate except for maybe the fact Kelly didn't win. At least Guy didn't come close. :p

Go Kurt! Go kurt! go go Go Kuurt! :bounce: :bounce:

PARTHEY!!! :punk: :martini

F?KK AMERICA!!!!!!!!:devil::

Bush is the missing link!!! :crazy::

There is nothing to discuss, Kurt got the most votes from all off the countries, except the arabian ****s who voted for Alexander(the ***). Which says it all!!! :DD

    • Not such a great deal, Ultimate, which gives you full 5080 features is $181.99 CAD per month, that's $2183.88 per year, I can buy the 5080 for $1809.99 CAD, then it goes up to $279.99 per month after the first billing cycle. Typical cloud rental, costs more than buying the hardware.
    • Wow, spoken like a true blind hater, you don't even provide arguments. Please, go check my comment above to @seacaptain and you'll find out why what you say doesn't make sense in this context...
    • Get used to this, with AI tooling now uncovering new vulns and getting them exploitable far faster than has ever been possible before software is going to need to be updated far more frequently. Back in the day it may take reseachers weeks or months to do what AI can now do in hours. Once its a threat is discovered it's weaponsized far more quickly, meaning you simply can't be waiting 2, 3, 4 weeks to deploy a patch, it needs to be patched immediately. Going to be interesting handling this in the enterprise space where traditionally patching has been steady, but very staged (and rightly so up until now), that is going to have to change.
    • You don't need to "close all browser sessions constantly" or wait for updates to install. The updates download in the background while you use the browser, without interrupting you, they install automatically the next time you launch the app. And they install very fast (depending on your storage speeds, of course), you have to wait at most 2-3 extra seconds, if any. Seems like you haven't used Edge in a loooooooong time...
