the idea is that you doing your own MiTM on any page that your browser trying to render.

you can do that by installing such local proxy program like Privoxy or Proxomitron and then configure your browser setting/config to use the local proxy in their connection.

 

most programs however are not friendly, and they requires you to have some knowledge in regular-expression and html (and HTTP header)
