Ive been keeping tabs on this project for quite a while now and its just about to be released so I thought I'd give you all a heads up about it.

Its a modification program for AIM (just like deadaim), with many many (more) features.

I like Aimutation but paying every 4th download is a pain in the ass and it's still a little buggy especially the tabbed IM's. I hope this provides an real workable solution. I'll even donate the 5 bucks I was planning on spending on aimutation if it's good enough.

yeah, i think we all started out with aim+. at least i did. then it was on to MyIM, and then dead aim.

Yeah, AIM+ led the way.. I damn near cried last year when they told everyone that not only would they not release a new version, they would scrap the current version. The AIM+ forums are still buzzing, nothing can beat it.. I never liked MyIM though.

DeadAIM was decent until jdennis started charging for it. That p!ssed me off beyond reason.. He totally doesnt deserve the money. If it was a seperate piece of software, i would understand, but its just an extension to AIM. I'm not ashamed to say that I have a pirated version of deadAIM 4.1 in my programs folder. I never use it though.. Trillian and MirandaIM surpass it by leaps and bounds.

I love AIM +

I still use 4.8 solely to use all of its features.

They should release the source code though

Yeah, it could be that it was all fake and that the screenies really WERE photoshopped.. I mean, someone who has enough skill to make a groundbreaking program like that (selective Away messages, invisibility, etc.) with so many unique features would be mature enough to put up with what he gets.

no kidding. If I backed down after hearing crap NexNote would still be at 0.47 or so lol.
