there is no point of me wasting my time download so visual styles and see.

I agree, it looks good in some visual styles, but those use other types of progressbars.

You have 3 different types in general:

1) The one that consists of blocks. You can get this one 100% perfect

2) The solid one that covers the whole progressbar background. This one too can be made 100% perfect

3) The solid one that does not cover the whole progressbar background and leaves a 1 pixel space between the background and the progressbar. You can't get that one 100% correct... there will be always this tiny bug. It is not the skins fault (since the margins are correct), but the way XP handles it.

OpusOS (and some other themes) uses #3.

You need either a uxtheme.dll hack (Neowin have one which I recommend to most people), or StyleXP (but that costs money).

After that, it will appear in your Appearance dialog box :)

I will continue to update Opus OS, but I have been exceedingly busy after finishing my Masters. I have no time to theme atm since it generates no income, and as always, the bills need paying. So unless some wealthly person decides to donate a lot of money, 2.0 won't be out for a while yet...

Hi b0se,

Good to see you're still around. Congrats for your Masters. How about selling your art works or make them donation-ware? I like all of your VS, I'd be happy to contribute.

Yo Bose if you cannot make new theme then at least update this one and fix some of the minor bugs such as the progress bar and some of the arrows, change the flag make it real, fix the shellstyle so that it has better pictures or animations.

What do you think of idea?

He said he was busy. And there really is nothing wrong with the style.

    • WordArt was cool. We now have color fonts as a substitute although Word only supports COLRv0 and COLRv1 (Fraud OS 11 only). The OpenType SVG color font format needs to be supported by Office. Adobe's apps support it
