Slipstreaming Office 2000

Question

First of all how can I slipstream my office 2000 pro CD to be fully updated.

What files do I need to download and how do I slipstream it?

Second is there a way to slipstream in my second CD of FrontPage 2000 SP1 into my Office 2000 CD? Or can I slipstream my FrontPage CD with all the latest updates also?

Thanks

Sorry if this question has been asked a billion times.

1) Yes, you can slipstream Office 2000. http://www.microsoft.com is loaded with articles how to do it.

2) You'll need to first copy the OFF2000 CD to your PC, then install all the patches (if desired).

3) No, if your OFF2000 media doesn't include FrontPage, you cannot add it to the install.

4) But, you can slipstream your FrontPage 2000 CD. Again, Microsoft's site has it all.

try this:

http://unattended.<< spam >>/xp/officexp_advanced.htm

this is for office xp, but i suspect that the same principle will work for office 2000. note: you cant do this if you have office 2000 retail, i think.

to get the updates, install office 2000 without any updates installed then go to office update and list down all the KB article numbers that appear as patches. for the SERVICE PACKS, get them from the download center. for all patches (SP, and hotfix) you need the ADMINISTRATIVE update (alot bigger than the retail), so dont get the updates from officeupdate engine site...

iobilly you can PM the link if you want.

Maybe that will work.

Is there a way to add in things from Office Website onto the CD?

Like some extra features and templates and what not, or should I just make an extra dir on the CD and stick those on there?

Thanks
