Windowed case suggestions up to £80

Recommended Posts

Hardware:

  • 6700K (with slight overclock)
  • Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cooler (quite large)
  • Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 AMP Extreme (one of the physically largest GPUs)
  • 3x HDDs
  • 1x SSD

Current case:

A mid tower Cooler Master HAF 922 from 2009.

It's rough dimensions are W25.5 x H50 x D56 cm.

Due to the size of the GPU and CPU cooler, I don't want the new case to be any smaller than this.

Any suggestions?

Right, I've limited it down.

My three requirements:

  1. Similar depth of my current case (the GPU only just about fits into this case, much smaller and it won't fit)
  2. A side window
  3. Up to £100

I like the FractalDesign series. But I did own a few HAF cases years ago.

Cases are 100% personal preference. Something that looks good to me, would look bad to you...

That is the case I have now.

I was inspired by a YouTube video -- How to build a PC.

Hello,

The last three cases I bought were a Fractal Design Define R5 and two Define R4s.  No windows, though.

I'm not sure about pricing (including VAT and shipping) in your part of the world, but if you are in their price range I would recommend them.

Regards,

    • 26H2 absolutely will support ARM Windows just not on devices that came with 26H1. This is evident by the fact I am running 26H2, which on my MacBook Neo and Surface Book, within a VM.

    • The FIFA World Cup is not US centric.
    • It’s amusing how Microsoft is pushing IT admins as if this was a major, game-changing update. In reality, it’s just an enablement package that bumps the build number, which is disappointing compared to the more substantial 22H2 and 24H2 releases. Technically, 25H2, 26H1, and the upcoming 26H2 are essentially the same, differing only in support schedules. They could have included the Windows K2 improvements here, but chose not to. The era of Windows being in the backburner continues, and this 26H2 release feels like an afterthought. Shame, Nadella, shame.
    • Microsoft, totally not confusing /s 25H2 - Current for non-Arm based Windows 26H1 - Current for Arm based Windows 26H2 - Only for non Arm Windows
