I created this computer hookup cheat sheet for some of my customers that find hooking a computer backup a challenge. So if you do computer repair and want / need a guide to give to people who have to take their computer home and hook it back up, enjoy!

Only thing I would suggest, and it is a minor quibble - very minor.

Due to this only being used by the absolute layman

Maybe for the VGA & DVI & HDMI & DP ( have to consider the newer computers)

Is instead of having it read 

MONITOR / VGA or MONITOR / DVI

Change it to MONITOR (VGA) and MONITOR (DVI)

It wont really help them with connecting, but it might help them in using the correct terms.

For instance - a / makes one think either/or - so in this case it says monitor or VGA

As opposed to monitor (more specifically VGA, ie is a type of monitor) as the parentheses show clarification, not choice.

Like I said, a minor insignificant thing, but if it were me, I would use () as opposed to /

Other than that - I think its clear and concise.  Are you going to make them in colored handouts @ the POS ?

I would love to make colored handouts, but I just have a black and white laserjet. But I think it still helps, regardless if it's in color or not.

Since the items in the back are color-coded - it would be helpful.  But at some point  - if they cant figure it out with this aid, one has to wonder how they get out of bed in the morning without hurting themselves.

Handed this out at work. Some people couldn't follow it. I think you might need to specify the relative orientation of the plug.

 

I am happy to report that everyone figured out the power cord though.
