Preordered mine a year ago and it looks like it's finally shipping.  This was the definition of an impulse purchase. I was looking around for something just like it.  the preorder price was $316 .....turns out the retail price is now $800.

 

So if this thing does turn out to be awesome, then I got a hell of a deal.

 

This thing connects to your car port. So it can read your gas gauge and display it on the screen.

 

On their Facebook page, they said they are finally shipping the preorders. I'll let you guys know when it comes in also do a video review.

Navdy looks pretty cool.  Never heard of it.  Hard to keep up with all the tech these days.

My car's stock system does all this and more already, and it's not a high-end car.  This seems like a very temporary product?

You can get a navigation system installed that uses Android auto or Apple carplay for the same price or less.

So I just checked my desktop system downstairs and Thunderbird was accidently left open downloading all my emails DOH! ... so there were some I was never alerted about.

 

So I checked my inbox and got an email that said "Your Navdy has shipped!"
