RangerLG
I bought a new MacBook Pro 2012 version that came with El Capitan installed. I updated to Sierra before doing anything beyond initial setup. After installing, I went to setup my email. The Mail app shows Inbox (Read Only). I cannot add any email accounts. I've used First Aid in Disk Utilities and have reinstalled Sierra. Neither have worked. Any other suggestions? +virtorio MVC Posted February 8, 2017 MVC Share Posted February 8, 2017 Hmm, never seen that before. You could try deleting the Mail data folder (in Finder press CMD+SHIFT+G and enter ~/Library/Mail) and restarting Mail to see if that fixes it. Also try creating a new user account and see if the problem persists there.
