? Hmm, i think if you look at C:\Windows\System32\wmploc.dll (think thats the file) it has the resources that you need to change:))

GOOD JOB Zero1!

Well i got it and all...oooh...+2000 files to look through. Ive never done serious editing before, but this windows media player looks discusting on my desktop, it stands out too much, so i gotta do something about it.

Also, is there any way of making my own skin, a program maybe?

Once again, thanks for the help.:))

I have found if i modify this dll then when WMP10 starts, it says its the wrong version of the dll and asks if i want to reinstall the whole version of WMP10 again -- any ideas?

what are you using to edit it? reshacker?

try copying the dll to the desktop, edit it, then save it. do a search for the file and replace all instances with the modified one.

yes reshacker - i saved it on the desktop, then renamed the one in the system32 folder, then copied the new one there - then when i tried to start WMP, it sayd that that file was version 9.032 (i dont remember the decimals :)), but it said i needed version 10, so WMP10 wasnt installed correctly. then it asked if i wanted to reinstall from the website. I said no, then restored the backup copy of the dll, and its working again.
