I have been trying to put an audio book on a flash drive to play in my truck. I format it in FAT32 and download the ffiles by going to "my files" on my computer and just click and drag to the sub drive. when I do this my computer recognizes the files without issue but when I plug the usb into my vehicle it says "no media files found"  I have no clue how to fix this

Try a different flash drive.  My X's car couldn't read my Sandisk Cruiser drives, bought a low end flash drive and it worked fine after that.

what file format is the audio books? That might be your answer.

I would think, if they are Audible files, unless your car, has that ability to play those specially-coded mp3 files, you will need to go about it another way.

I have tried this before, as well.  I do not listen to music that much, and when on a long trip, there is no better time-killer than an audiobook.  (Just finished Sapiens by Harari)

Even if you were able to get it to work somehow, you wouldnt be able to pick up where you left off (with an auto roll 5 seconds back when you get back in the car), skip chapter, skip section, roll back 20 seconds, etc - all the features the Audible player gives you.

This is a bit of a guess as I have tried it myself, and chalked it up to the reasons I stated.  (I have not researched it, as I quickly realized any attempt to get it to work, was defeating the purpose - which was "an easy way"

FWIW - My father just went and bought a cheap little $150 iPod nano as his dedicated audiobook player, and throws it in the center arm rest console - it stores plenty of audiobooks and uses the Audible features.

I tried it on 2 different flash drives. Unfortunately SanDisk was the only brand they had but I tried a high end and a cheapo from them with the same results.

Thanks for the reply guys

Would help to know the make / model ... and/or refer to the vehicle's owner manual about the supported file format.  Vehicles infotainment systems can be extremely picky ... so it is hard to assist without knowing more information.

It is a 2012 ram 3500. I wasn't able to find any helpful info in the owners manual.

    • Microsoft brings Planner Agent to all Microsoft 365 Copilot users by Ivan Jenic Image: Microsoft Microsoft has announced that Planner Agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot is now generally available to all users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. Planner Agent is the latest addition in the string of AI features that Microsoft is implementing across virtually all of its products. The agent lets you manage tasks through natural language prompts directly inside Microsoft 365 Copilot. You can create and update tasks, check priorities, and get insights about current entries without leaving the chat interface. The general availability release comes with a handful of new additions on top of what was available during the initial rollout. A new plan picker lets you search and filter your plans by name, then update task names, statuses, due dates, or priorities through the agent. There's also a goals bucket now, which lets you group tasks under specific goals. This builds on the Goals view, a feature that was introduced as part of the broader Planner refresh that rolled out earlier. Image: Microsoft | Planner Agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot All AI-generated plans and tasks are created in draft mode by default, so you can review and approve changes before anything goes through. This is actually a thoughtful safety feature, because trusting AI to handle all your tasks without a human in the loop is usually a recipe for disaster. Having tasks initially saved as drafts is the best possible middle ground. Microsoft also says that not all tasks are executed equally. Simple tasks get processed quickly, while more complex ones, like building a plan from a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file, are handed to a more capable model. Microsoft says this approach delivers the best performance, but it could also help with usage management, as you won't have to waste tokens on performing simple tasks. Planner Agent is available now across Teams, Loop, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 apps for anyone on a Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription.
