Remove it, and then try and install it again....

To remove:

Click start --> run --> and type this in: RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection java.inf,UnInstall

You will then get a prompt to uninstall, choose yes, and choose to reboot.

Delete the java folder in \WINDOWS.

Next go to \WINDOWS\inf\ and delete java.pnf

Delete C:\WINDOWS\system32\jview.exe and C:\WINDOWS\system32\wjview.exe

Delete: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Java VM

Delete: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AdvancedOptions\JAVA_VM (To remove the configuration options from the IE Advanced Options tab).

and then try and install it right off of the WindowsUpdate site.
