OK to wear shorts to training?

I'm going to some SCCM training next week and Phoenix is supposed to be triple digits all next week. Is it OK to wear nice shorts with a polo? Several co-workers I talked to said shorts are a no-no because you are representing the company and need to wear long pants. Do you think it's OK to wear shorts? I'm talking nice shorts not Hawaiian shorts or swimming shorts.

No, not for formal training. That would be a mistake. Call the training coordinators to find out. If you are in air conditioning, you need to wear business attire.

Khakis and a polo at a minimum, I doubt they are doing the training outside and have AC at the location. If not, leave.

Skirts are probably allowed. You could always try  . I'm joking of course. But the joke came from following fact: during very hot days last June in France, a group of male bus drivers went to work in skirts. They were protesting that female co-workers were allowed to wear skirts, while the males had to wear long pants.
