Removing folders from control panel?

I could have sworn I've created a thread for this before but now I can't find it at all. There's a few things I wanna remove from the control panel and I can't remember their reg entries.

Speech

Taskbar and Start Menu

Scheduled Tasks

Fonts

I know their reg entries but I can't find anything :/

Edit, typically I found them now:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ControlPanel\NameSpace

Although I still can't find speech :pinch:

TweakUI and/or X-Setup should be right up your alley. They can modify what applets are displayed.

TweakUI doesn't contain the folders or the speech applet.

i don't have a speech folder in mine, did it get installed with something else? check that entry, it could be there.

The speech one isn't a folder, it's actually an applet and it's there on every format for me. Nothing I install adds it.

i have it too. what happens if you move the cpl file and change the reference to it?

I'd rather not install a load of nasty software when I can just do it all via regedit. Besides, all sorted now :D
