How to delete a .Net/ Messenger account

Is there a way to delete a .net account and start over, my ma was creating herself an account for messenger ( shes 72) and typed her e-mail in the wrong, i need to correct it for her but cant find anyway, or any way to just delete the account she opened.

One ,ore question...to use messenger do you have to have a .Net passport?

go here and click "close my .net passport account" (Y)

*.* what gameguy said, and yes, you must have a .NET passport to use MSN Messenger; however, you do not need an MSN or Hotmail address. If you have an @yahoo.com or @att.com or @YouNameIt.com, you can use it.

i never knew you can close a passport account.. wait.. this isn't the same as trying to close a hotmail account is it?

i just don't eveer use it and it locks up byitself

that should be able to close your hotmail account (Y)
