There are two speakers behind the xmas trees...decorator decided to block them :( Using the PGR3 theme. One of the best looking out of the bunch imo. Anyways components are:

Sony 65" XBR HDTV (720p / 1080i)

Denon AVR-3805

Samsung HD841 DVD Player

5.1 Channel In-wall Surround Speakers

Logitech Harmony 676 Remote

and all my gaming systems (older ones are on the left)

Sweet setups out there, keep posting guys.

and the video of pgr3 http://savefile.com/files/6349385 eh... bad cam quality

I'll have to check that, but I know that mine is different from threedaysdwn. Mine has a larger bottom area (where the speaker is) and in general seems larger. Possibly because if I remember right, I got it earlier this year... I think the one he has is a newer model.

*goes to check model*

Okay so this helps... The back of the TV says: Feb 2004 Model: HLN617W

Mine is an HL-R6167W - Same size, same resolution, but a newer DLP chip and a few other minor tweaks.

what is your job?

I'm a software engineer (test architect). I don't make that much really (ie. not 6 figures... not yet anyway) but I'm also a single 21-year-old. Not a lot of expenses :) And I got the TV on a weekend when Fry's and Best Buy were having a price war. I was planning to get the 50" model but the 61" ended up being cheaper!

we work for the same company but on different states and different divisions... and I'd never meet him and it seems like he makes a ton more than I do...

I doubt it. But I don't know what you do :p Where is Bungieland? :)

I hope your 360 doesn't over heat. I don't think it's a good idea to have it crammed into the bottom of that tv stand.

No problems at all with mine. And I've had some long sessions of Kameo/GW/COD2. It has room around it down there, I'm not really worried. It doesn't get nearly as hot as my receiver (big black box to the right of it). Apparently what most of what people think is "fan noise" on the 360 is actually the disc drive.

so worth it zack, so worth it

Dont get me wrong, it looks so sweet.

If I was loaded and had money to my neck then, yeah it would be so worth it..

But then again, $150 for a peice of plastic... with the only thing different is a little paint? Ahhh....

And esco, by the looks of it, 4 contollers, all the games... yeah your loaded...

Hey, some of you are so lucky with your massive HD displays :( *is so jealous*

Basically, Ive got my 360 connected to my PC monitor via the VGA Cable, Im going to be getting a Samsung Widescreen HD LCD Display this christmas and it has a lot of inputs, including DVI, VGA, Component and Scart. I have both the VGA Cable and the component HD-AV cable that came with the 360 (Prem. Pack). Which cable do you recommend I use with my setup for the best quality?

The LCD TV I'm going to be getting is the Samsung SM730MW 17" Widescreen LCD TV/Monitor

http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/in...oduct_uid=81476

The native resolution is 1280x768, that is 720p isnt it?

Anyways, whatever advice you guys have that be great, I'll post a pic of my 360 setup once I got this all sorted :)

Thanks! :)

    • No, "a great deal" for 32GB of DDR5 is $50, not $350. I mean I see what you mean, that it's a decent price compared to what's currently available, but you really should put a disclaimer in this articles explaining that it's still multiple times more expensive than it used to be.
    • Linux 7.1 stable launch looms as Linus Torvalds releases the final release candidate by Paul Hill Linus Torvalds has just released what’s expected to be the final release candidate of Linux 7.1, rc7. The Linux founder said that this RC is not small, but smaller than recent releases, which is a good sign because he expects the stable version to drop next week if things continue on this trajectory. Linux kernels see a merge window for the first two weeks of their life, where developers add new features, then there are about seven or eight weeks of release candidates before the stable version. Typically, there are seven release candidates, but if more time is needed, then an eighth release candidate is released too. This week’s RC’s biggest area of fixes was for GPUs, with networking just behind. Torvalds said that the rest of the release was “pretty random and spread out” with some architecture fixes, driver fixes, filesystem improvements, and build fixes for more unusual configs. In terms of specific pieces of hardware receiving improvements in this update, we had more AMD Zen6 models supported and fixes for AMD SDMA 7.1 and GFX11. Hardware that got improvements includes Lenovo laptops, HONOR laptops, and MSI laptops. Here are the changelogs for those: ASoC: amd: acp: Add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 Input: atkbd - add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Air 14 (83QK) Input: atkbd - skip deactivate for HONOR BCC-N's internal keyboard ASoC: amd: yc: Add MSI Raider A18 HX A9WJG to quirk table ASoC: amd: yc: Enable internal mic on MSI Bravo 17 C7VF When the stable Linux 7.1 is released, it will be up to distribution maintainers, such as Canonical and Red Hat, to release the update to their users via the update manager. Some versions of Linux will get it before others, and some will never get it at all. Fedora and Arch-based distros will be among the first to get it, though. If you don’t get it, the security fixes will be backported to your system’s kernel, so you won’t be at risk, but you won’t get newer hardware support, which is fine if your computer works now.
    • Ideally, the algorithm is smart enough to see the real sender ID and non-spoofed address to block it. Ideally.
