Maybe this is a good place to ask:

Im in the market for a 42" LCD HDTV. I see prices coming down have slowed recently, but I just cant wait anymore. I want to take advantage of Vista's great ability as a media hub, Xbox360 as well. What brands have good price to quality ratio? Maybe someone could point me toward some good sites. I'm going to pick one up for my mom as well, but a bit smaller.

solardog, I would heavily recommend buying a Samsung or a Sharp, their prices have come down drastically in the last few months. There both solid television sets. I personally own a Samsung and love it to death. :D

this is my gaming setup in ma room i have ma ps3 under the tv as u can just make out and ma wii is in a holder to the left of ma room wid ma psp but i have a 37" plasma panasonic viera and 2 way big speakers itha side linked up to ma tv :)

Well heres my bedroom set up, got the TV in the sales and the HD drive for xmas. Now i need to get a PS3 for blue ray (dam Warner) and get a surround sound system, what do you guys recommend for the sound a package surround sound or separate receiver and speaker?
