But how would I do the icon individually as it's part of an iconset?

You could try hacking shell32.dll with reshacker but im not sure if that work and or if you want to take the risk hacking a system file.

I haven't come across an other program that allows you change individual drive icons.

I'm not particularly worried about hacking system files, but I'd prefer not to. :p

I wouldn't mind changing the drive icons individually but I didn't really want to download the whole GANT 2 individual package at 9MB on a 56k dialup.

I guess I'll have to do that and retrieve my individual icon changing program from somewhere on my storage drive.

Just found something.

In IconPackager go to settings and under ther heading Other there should be an option called 'Show 'Icon' tab in File/Folder/Drive Properties dialog'. This should give you the icon tab in the Properties dialog.

That's given me the tab for hard drives, but not Floppy or CD/DVD drives. :(

Yes, manualy. It will let you change just about everything.

Yes, if you run the program after your time is up it will ask if you want to

revert back to the original icons, just say no. Granted you can't use IP to change

all your icons anymore, but it will keep the current set you have applied.

At least mine does. I run an older version.

No prob Wirah, sorry i couldnt help you more.

jami_welch, you use a program called ResHacker to edit shell32.dll and replace icons within the .dll file. This means that you dont have to use a program like IconPackager.

The down side is that you have to edit a system file and if you screw up, well i dont know, cause it never happened to me but it cant be good!

Personally I use IP because editing shell32 takes alot longer.
