blackbox is just a tad more memory efficient than the default explorer.exe that windows uses

I haven't tested this myself but could it not be done with perhaps Samurize and simple shortcuts to playlists?

yes, it's done with samurize, and the templates can you get here: http://free-st.htnet.hr/crni/foobariPod.html

and link the cover to an playlist file for winamp!
