I want to backup the c: partition of my first hd and save the backup on the g: partition on my second hd. I think it's possible with ghost, although I only find the options to save the ghost file on cd or dvd or network drive. not on another partition. But I also want that some files/folders are kept up to date in the backup ( like my documents) is that possible with norton ghost? if not, does there exist a program that does this?
The only people that'd need to change their boot drives from MBR to GPT would be those with their firmware set to "CSM legacy boot" that now want to boot in UEFI mode, and those are rare, most PCs in the last decade come with UEFI boot by default.
What VB.NET doesn't have that C# gained these last years:
- pattern matching & switch expressions
- source generators
- record types
- async enumeration
- default interface methods
- ref structs and spans
- tuple deconstruction
When C# gets type (or "discriminated") unions in the future, this may be a game changer for .NET, and many libraries will start exposing them and become impractical in VB.NET.
If the language stops evolving, unless it's a lingua franca like C, people are not going to invest in it for new projects.
