Is the Mini iPod avalible in the UK now, Is there any sites with specs on yet ? or anywhere i can order one on the internet ?

I thought I read somewhere on neowin, in fact here it was gonna b bout ?130 which I thought was reasonable.

I think they are having a giraffe charging ?20:crazy:y:, esp as 15GB iPod is ?250, which is the greater benefit, a small iPod or more storage? I think some Mac specialist stores are taking pre-orders, one of the catalogues we get at work had them in but it eludes me which on:) :)

Well they have it advertised at Jigsaw24 but it also says "ETA Date 01/05/04 So looks like we could be waiting a while in the UK

It's gonna hit market at around the 200GBP price point, and I think it'll be a big hit with the ladies who can pop it in a little bag and colour coordinate it ;)

Seriously though, as has been said, you're better off paying the 50GBP extra for a regular iPod with a much larger capacity. I think where the mini will gain ground though is against the likes of flash players such as Nike / Phillips's portable music devices, in that being heavy on the fashion front allied with the smaller form factor it could be ideal for working out or jogging. Heck, it even comes with an arm band.
