Found a reddit thread with a fix. Confirmed it fix both machines. I'm guessing Microsoft will eventually fix it and push down a fix. But if you are in a pinch and need outlook.exe working now.
cd “\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun”
then:
officec2rclient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.6366.2062
You did take leaf out of Trumps book already and had brexit - only to harm yourself. The same goes with this AI nonsense. The obvious solution for these companies is to move their head office to Brussels. I can see quite much irony there... 🙂
Wonder if they are trying to slow down Linux traction (not saying this is the only factor) in the consumer space. With the most pressure probably being steam deck/box, etc.
i know people will laugh at this because we are only a small country, but this is why the u.K need to get it boots on and start doing it own tech stuff, if they need to then yes AI. but other stuff as well.
We used to be good at stuff, we started the industrial revolution
we used to produce so much. It is so sad to see how this country have gone. Maybe we should take a leaf out of Trumps book. Great Britain first.
