Microsoft Edge Beta got installed on my system... by surprise!

I just saw in the Recently added programs that Microsoft Edge Beta has been installed.

I didn't do it.

I did download a Steam-game - in Alpha version - but I guess this can't be it. Right?

 

How can I uninstall this Beta-version...?? It's not listed in the 'Add/remove programs' or 'Apps & Features'.

What happens if you right-click on it, select more>open file location? It should take you to the shortcut, but then where does the shortcut point to?

It got installed yesterday.

CCleaner listed it in the Tools > Uninstall section.

 

Very strange... it's not listed in the 'standard' option in Windows, but CCleaner somehow managed to get hold of it.

 

Anyways... removed it, and it's gone now.

Exact same thing happened to me today. Edge beta is listed as a new install and there is no listing in Apps & Control. It's not listed in HiBit Uninstaller either. It is listed in Ccleaner! Removing it now.
