LAN Connection Properties

I can't access the 'Properties' page with the button on the Lan settings (see image). I need to disable the built in firewall as I have a software one.

Any help would be appreciated.

I also have a similar problem with another network adaptor icon, it doesn't even display that property page (seen in the image) when clicked on. :(

What does the computer do when you click on properties? Have you tried right clicking on the connection and then pressing "Properties" from the context menu?

The button does nowt'.

It seems like the property pages have been disabled somehow, 'twould be my guess.

There isn't a 'properties' option on the right click menu. :(

I seriously need to disable the Internet Connection Firewall, as the network does not function with it on. :cry:

Does anyone know of another way of disabling it or restoring the missing functionality?

Does anyone know an alternative method (registry, script etc.) to enable a particular connection to be shared?

Or is there anyone out there who can solve my original problem?
