HP Omen Gaming Laptop 15_ce019dx M.2 SSD Filling up For some reason

Recommended Posts

Hi All

Original 128GB M.2  in this Gaming Laptop,  i'd open it, but 1 screw--#10 stuck and will not remove,   i guess will end up taking it to the shop eventually to get this task done,     31.5Gb remaining, problem is space isn't updating at all when i uninstalled some games, that shouldn't even be on the C boot drive at all,  as i usually point all Installs to Drive D.    So why the heck is the boot drive filling up?   anyone have any ideas?    Cleaned temp files, any else i should do?    Should i do a clean install of Windows 10

Ohh ok, My bad

Well even after uninstaling a few games,   Removed World of Warships thinking Windows store app somehow installed it on the C Drive,   still was at 31.5gb free lol.  I was like C drive shouldn't have too much on it, as most of the software i make sur goes to D drive as much as i can

Guess i'll work on it more tomorrow morning--may opt for a clean Windows install, as been a while for that system for sure

I'd get a newer M.2 bigger one, but very hard to open this HP Omen Gaming Laptop,  1 Screw still stuck, and won't budge

Ok will give Bleach bit a try tomorrow morning,  got a headache from working on it for last 5 hours lol,  so think break for now, and resume early tomorrow lol

Think Figured it out,  Somehow Documents on user account was set for C somehow, and i know i moved it to D long time ago.   Moved those files manually to D,  now i have 48.9GB Free
