I don't know what is scarier. Age, time gone quickly and looking back thinking of being on Neowin during college before Windows XP came out and being on Windows 2000 with all the Whistler news. Beige towers and CRT monitors with ball mice. The days of Windowblinds vs Msstyles and all the theming that was so big as well back then. Plus the fact of 56k modems in the year 2000 and AOL dial-up CDs and such. Sometimes it's frightening looking back. Yet at the same time in ways it only felt like yesterday.

Man time flies! You were 27, almost 28. I was barely legal (18)! LOL.

      Not surprising at all. Apple got three months worth of marketing hype with the Macbook Neo's incredible low launch price. They have sowed the idea that the Neo is the best value laptop and that idea will last for years even though the value is no longer there. They do this every five years or so with a single new product that is amazing value which distracts from the rest of their products being horrendously overpriced.

      I still use speccy on windows systems as a quick sysinfo thing. I know there's better but really it was the first one I used of its type
