Cheapest way to get Xbox Ultimate - New User

So I've bought a top of the range Neo QLED TV and it's got Samsung Game Hub built in and this will allow me to play Xbox games via the cloud but I need an Xbox Ultimate Subscription for it, I can get a months trial for £1 but in the past I've heard of really cheap ways to get 12 months on the super cheap, so I've got 2 questions.

Best way to get Xbox Ultimate really cheap?

How good or bad is streaming for Xbox via a TVs gaming hub?

I bet if you VPN to a country where they offer deals, sign up there, then switch back… that works with YouTube

I've already got a UK Xbox account before I switched to Playstation but I can look into it.

I've since read the upgrade from Xbox Live Gold to Ultimate trick for 36 months isn't as good now, I think I'll try the £1 for a month deal to see how good the streaming works via my 55QN95C telly as I don't really want to commit seeing I prefer the games on Playstation.

Do the monthlky trial first, the cheapest way to then do it as a new subscriber is to buy 3 years worth of Xbox Core then when you add that to your account after the trial has expired you'll get the option to convert it to 2 years of Ultimate. You can buy the subscriptions from any country and claim them on a UK account with VPN, I usually get the turkish ones from CDkeys.
