According to my profile, I'm a "20 year grand master member" of Neowin.
WTH does Grand Master mean?

Also, shout out to @Brad Wardell who is just an awesome guy.  He probably forgets me, but, that's ok.  I remember his kindness with one of Stardock's licenses back in 2010, and have boght Start8, Start10, and Start11.

Congrats to the Neowin Team for another year of tech news.

Grand Master doesn't mean you are just an old member. It probably means you have been helpful to other members.

I have been here for 15 years, 10 months and 12 days (who's counting) but still on Member rank.

It’s just post count, not age of account or helpfulness.

Congrats, even though Neowin isnt what it used to be, it's still good that we have a home when we need it.

Also, just for lolz...11x.jpg.30dd844e0230167ab47da0abfcf5bbbd.jpg

I've had so much help over the years, so many laughs, so many facepalms, so many warnings :shifty: but I truly am greatful that this site is still here!

the ranks are a part of the Invision forum software we use. They mostly just indicate how active you are and how much you've posted. Most of us older members got them all right when the feature was released :D

Man it's been 14 years for me on these forums. How time flies

I think the only account I have older than my Neowin account is probably my steam and wow accounts. How time flies by.

A few years ago I realised my ICQ account I had back in School still existed, the password from 20+ years ago surprisingly still let me log in 😅

Other than that only one website I signed up to before Neowin is still around today.

    • I’m still using an Xbox One S, so time for an upgrade to play this but as much as I hate Sony, I think I’ll get the ps5 pro
    • I bought this game. Played it for an hour, and then got a refund from Steam. Not a fun game at all.
