Not after the last 2 movies, no :D.

Seriosuly, the whole Matrix theme has been horribly overdone.

Kinda like saying, the whole Grey Trans Am has been over done.... LOL!!

I tend not to comment too much on what is horrible or not on others preferences...I guess I could come in here and start telling others what I think they should or should not have on Their Desktops LOL!!...I do enjoy the humor of some Critique's though, it seems to adjust the focus of the mindset, as it were..

But I do hear ya Mike, for some the Matrix has run it's course I guess :)

Here's my first desktop on Neowin. I've been a member for a while, but have been pretty quiet seeing how this is only my 4th post. Anyway, here it is:

VS - Caffeine by brewman (got it from Design Technika)

Icons - Normal Windows XP icons

Wallpaper - Beacon (Link)

Programs - Trillian, Foobar2000, Firefox

Lets keep this on topic.

Well....I kinda thought discussing desktops was the topic here...

I have also noticed while browsing here (For Quite Awhile Now), that there seems to be some childish notion that if the Desktop of choice of some certain member doesn't seem to fit the choice of another member, the terms Ugly,Dumb.....Etc,Etc,,, happen to be a common used phrase to describe how someone else feels about this persons Personal Preference... ??

Now correct me if I'm not seeing the logic of someone trying to say that because one members preferences don't parallel

their own preferences that it's Ugly,or Stupid Looking, or Dumb..?? LOL!!

I guess if that's the case here, I'd have to say there's alot to be desired in many of the desktops..

You'll have to excuse me, I'm not real big on Ignorance...Never have been..I guess I was just trying to understand the smaller minds, so I know what to look forward to....

I'll try to keep it on topic in the future.... Thanks Knight ;)

no really... when something looks ugly, is just that, ugly. Nothing personal. There are no personal feelings about that.

Well....My feelings are very hard to hurt... LOL Trust Me!!

I just think that there's maybe a better way of saying something or maybe Not Saying Something, is quite often a good thang ;)

If you don't happen to agree with a personal preference of someone elses, maybe calling it Ugly isn't the best way of saying it.. LOL!!

This is just an example:...If that's you in the picture (Avatar)... I think that lil piece of scruff you've got camped under your lower lip looks like crap, maybe the cat had an accident on your face...??

Now that's just an example, which I do not mean at all..But I might have been a little less ignorant and said nothing to you, because it's really none of my business...Why??.... It's not my face ;)

There's always a non ignorant way there Trust ;)

      Still hate Windows 11, I stuck it on my gaming machine again just for a nose to see what they had done, still as bad. Will restore Windows 10 back on it, suit MS anyway, they don't want me to run Windows 11 on it.

      Ms did go with the you must sign into an account thing with Windows 8 for a while. The same sort of thing they are doing with Windows now and the MS account.

      Windows 8? Nah. I found Window 8 worked well, get a third party start menu to get rid of the start screen, I used Start is back and windows 8 was pretty good. I used it even when Windows 10 came out as I found Windows 10 was iffy on my machine at the time was AMD FX Bulldozer based. It was only when I updated the innards to Ryzen that I had no choice but to go to Windows 10 as MS made it difficult to stay with Windows 8. ME, yes, that was not great, I liked the look of it, but it was not stable, shame really because Windows 98SE was the best of the dos based Windows.
