Best Final Fantasy X-2 Garment Grids

Recommended Posts

I used a GameShark to get all the garment grids and dresspheres, including the best ones, such as the Floral Fallal, Machina Maw, etc...

But, what do I have to do to use them? I don't see them listed as available, but I know I have them. Any ideas? Sorry for the n00bish question.

Right, that's how you do it. But, there are three special garment grids which are each specific to each character. They are like the 'ultimate weapons' from FFX--they require some other items or event to 'activate' them for use. I'm wondering what that event/item is.

- [D20]Special Dresspheres --------------------------------------------------

There are 3 Special Dresspheres in the game, 1 for each character.

SHORT EXPLANATION:

To use them you have to transform into each Dressphere on your Garment Grid

at least once during the same battle.  Once you have done that you can press

L1 to bring up the Garment Grid Window and then press R1 and then "X" to

transform.

LONG EXPLANATION:

Okay. Here's how they work. You don't need to equip them, they are

automatically ready after you get them.

You cannot use them until you change into every dressphere on your garment

grid. For example, say you are using the "First Steps" Garment Grid. There are

6 places on the garment grid that you can put dresspheres. We'll say you have

White Mage, Black Mage, Gun Mage, Thief, Warrior, and Gunner attached to the

garment grid.

Now, you have Yuna in your party equipped with the "First Steps" Garment Grid

and the Gunner dressphere equipped (look on the equip screen in the main

menu).  So Yuna starts every battle as a Gunner. Now you are walking around

and you get into a fight against enemy.

During the battle you use L1 to change Yuna into the White Mage. Then on her

next turn you change her into the Black Mage. Then her next turn you change

her into the Gun Mage, then the Thief, then the Warrior. So now you have

transformed into all 6 dresspheres on that garment grid in the same battle.

Notice I say the SAME battle. Once a battle is over you have to start all

over again.

So now that you have transformed into all the 6 dresspheres you had attached

to the Garment Grid Yuna is using, you are FINALLY able to transform into the

Special Dressphere. (To keep track of where you have gone on the garment grid,

press L1 during battle and look for the blue line on the garment grid).

Now press L1 to bring up the same garment grid window, when it comes up, press

R1. You should notice that on the right of the screen it says something about

Foral Fallal (Yuna's special dressphere). When that is showing, press X to

choose it. The window should go away and you should change into the special

dressphere.

I know it's a lot of work, but they are quite powerful. If you have a Garment

Grid called "Unerring Path", you will notice it only has 2 places for

dresspheres. This is a good grid to use if you want to use Special Dresspheres

a lot because you only have to change dresspheres in battle once and then you

can use the special dressphere.

While in special mode, your character will transform into something with 3

parts and your other 2 characters will be gone.  All three parts are

controlled by you and have very powerful attacks and abilities.

    • In addition to the "sidebar app list" and "Collections" features, Microsoft will also deprecate the "Drop" feature. Before you publish this news and credit another site, here is the original source: https://x.com/i/status/2067838711870439583 .
    • Looks like the 7.1 is fake effects, can it at least do real 5.1? It says 'virtual 7.1' in all descriptions.
    • You can't, if you didn't notice, it doesn't support surround at all, it's right in the spec list.
    • Hi — I’m always interested in soundcards. Like displays, I just want to know I’m getting as much clean “sonic juice” into my brain as possible as the years take their toll. I’m not entirely sure what to take away from this review, though. It doesn’t really tell me whether the AE‑X is a good product or who it’s actually for. Most of what I’m getting is: there’s a driver to install, here’s what it looks like, and here’s what’s in the box. There’s a lot of emphasis on the SPDIF input. When you mention not needing to switch headphones between console and PC — does that mean the PC has to be powered on just to pass audio through? That seems like a fairly big waste of energy. Is this more something a streamer would use alongside a capture card? How are you testing the sound? (Also, you might want to clarify that you’re using the headphones in wired mode when you mention they’re wireless.) You mention the lack of EMI shielding — how much real‑world difference does that make compared with typical motherboard audio? On multi‑channel: what exactly isn’t supported? Does this mean Windows spatial audio (Dolby Atmos for Headphones, DTS Headphone:X, etc.) won’t work, or just that the card itself doesn’t decode surround formats? And are there any true multi‑driver “surround” headphones left that would even use that? You also highlight support for high‑impedance headphones — but what does that translate to in practice? How does it compare to driving the same headphones from a normal device, and does it make any difference for everyday, lower‑impedance models? In short, who is this card actually targeted at?
