Computer Gloves

Recommended Posts

In a lot of YT professional computer builds, I see the builder using gloves. They look like fabric, so they aren't medical gloves.

What exactly are they called? "Computer Gloves" or?

I see Amazon has like 30 different companies. What are the best brands and not just knock-offs?

  • Mindovermaster changed the title to Computer Gloves

Don't see the point of those. Using gloves to manipulate fragile things is very rarely recommended as you lose a part of the touch feeling and might apply too much pressure. Just touch some metal to remove any static electricity before manipulating components and don't stand on carpet while building the computer and you'll be fine.

Those are just for on camera appearance, no real use for them besides hiding what your hands look like on camera

They are? OK.

They're just cotton gloves, and are just for nonsense aesthetic reasons for youtube. They don't offer any benefit and as already mentioned actually hinder pc building somewhat.

Just seems to be a bit of a glove thing going on with youtube in recent years. Like the black nitrile glove thing in cooking videos, everyone's at it these days.

These are just plain cotton gloves, mainly for aesthetic flair on YouTube. They don’t add any practical benefit—in fact, they can make PC building a bit trickier, as mentioned earlier.

It’s kind of like the trend with black nitrile gloves in cooking videos—seems like everyone’s jumping on the glove bandwagon lately!

Did you copy SuperHands's post and just reworded it 🤣

Maybe I'm being paranoid but neowin needs a system for blocking bots, if that's even possible. I expect that account to be spouting far right nonsense any day now 🤪

    • You missed out, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus were beautiful epic masterpieces, I never got to play The Last Guardian sadly so can't really comment on that one.
