I welled up.

I gotta admit, I near teared up at the theme... What an amazing tribute to both John Williams and Christopher Reeves. Gunn really respects what came before. :D

I'm sure it will be a good movie, I'm not engaging with David Corenswet as Superman/Clark, I dont know what it is but people seem really hyped for the movie so I'll reserve judgement.

And yeah, to jump on the Krypto bandwagon, he looked cool! I did like this on Twitter - Zack Snyder's Krypto:

Until we see some extended scenes of him as Clark and as Superman, it's going to be hard to figure out if he's it.  Certainly no reason for judgement at this point.... I would argue that he seems promising, and I like that he tries to look different as Clark vs Superman, rather than simply just wearing glasses.

Also: LOL to that image

He's already better than what the previous movies did with HC, at least now Superman and Clack look different enough that it's not slapping you in the face.  All they did before was put glasses on Henry and call it a day.  At least Gunn is changing up Corensweats look more with a different hairstyle and probably personality, more like what we got in the original with Reeves.

Solid trailer, I don't need to see another.  I just wish I could have the time to see it on the big screen, but I don't know if I'll be able to make it out do to work.

Critics Consensus

Pulling off the heroic feat of fleshing out a dynamic new world while putting its champion's big, beating heart front and center, this Superman flies high as a Man of Tomorrow grounded in the here and now.

whats this crap, looks ai generated and what is the point of the fake video tape effect

On the other hand, the robots are practical effects - physical  humanoid robotics with character shells, the main CGI being their legs when they're moving fast. Alan Tudyk voices #4.

    • WTF! Nah, not this one. If you were back then using computers in the 90s or you had a clue, you'd know this was huge and was seen and overused absolutely everywhere and you'd take this article as no more than a retrospective story. That's all it is.
    • these "editors" get paid by the amount of articles and not the quality of content; hence why we get this random stuff from the same "editor" time and time again.
    • 256 times the quality of an audio cd? I think audio cd's sound good so even twice as good as that would be something.
    • It’s not about the NOx. It’s about the electrical field.
