Anyone build Gunpla?

Always been intrigue by Mobile Suit Gundam, and when I was in Tokyo I picked up a chibi-scale model to bring home and build. Really enjoyed it…

I now want to build a bigger one, and am looking for something similar in style to an RX-78 to place within my PC case. I also am considering painting - as it needs to match the greys aesthetic of the case.

Am really up for anyone suggesting the direction I should look in for a decent model…

Back when I was in University I did the whole Gundam Wing set (Including Wing zero Custom with the rubber individual feathers) It was a lot of fun, I haven't done one in nearly 20 or so year though.)

Dont cheap out if you do get one, I have a Testors one (before they discontinued it), kinda regret not spending more

It's understandable, but just like anything else, it's better to learn from a quality tool than to become frustrated due to an inferior one.

A couple of friends of mine have been building Gunpla for years and got me interested, so I asked and they recommended this as a fairly good quality, very affordable, starting point.

It was fun to build, didn't take too long, and helped me decide if I wanted to go further with the hobby, which I did.  Still only got this one built, but that's only due to time availability!
