What browser do you prefer to use, and why?

I mostly stick with Chrome because it just works with pretty much everything and I don’t run into weird compatibility issues. I’ve tried Firefox too and it’s fine, just depends what I’m doing but Chrome is usually my default out of habit more than anything else

FireFox as long as I can still use the CSS to move the tabs - if I lose that probably move to Chrome, (although have been playing with Brave on Mint though) Edge only use for one thing, IE mode for some old DVR systems (Edge had too many nag screens IMO If you change too much stuff *or least did last time I tried to use it for any time).

Safari while on the mac.

Firefox elsewhere, still offers V2 plugins. prefer way it handle's AI options. 
Not opposed to use Edge/Chrome as an alt when needed.

at work, Google Chrome for the online platforms I have to use.  At home, I use Canary builds, as I just go to the same few sites.  I know, I'm boring now.  Used to play with different versions of Firefox, Opera, and others in the past, but not enough time or energy to do that much anymore.

After using Chrome for over a decade I moved to Edge (Chromium), before ending up on Firefox.

I perceive Firefox to be the best for privacy, so switched when I decided I was no longer happy with all the data gathering Google and Microsoft do.

Its a nice bonus that the original version of uBlock Origin still works too.

The current Statcoungter desktop numbers has Google Chrome increasing it's market share this past year and currently commanding 75% share. Everybody else is just making up the numbers with even MS Edge losing 3% this past year and has dipped just below 10% share which is staggering considering it's default on every Windows deviced purchased.

If these numbers are correct that terrible Edge number is both devastating and embarrassing for MS especially when you add in the terribly low Bing market share.

This leads me to ask a couple of questions as the default browser holding just less than 10% market share seems really weird.

It used to be that all Chromium browsers were being counted as Google Chrome in some cases. 

Is this still happening? Do these high Google Chrome numbers contains some Edge user numbers?
