software Searching for a Windows Folder Organizer Alternative

I'm looking software like Windows Folder Organizer (https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9PJ2G5X9GJWC?hl=en-us&gl=US&ocid=pdpshare) that supports scanning sub folders & hash / file duplicate checking or the closest to this feature set. 

I have a backed up multiple profiles over the years, and would like to merge them in to one backup profile.

I prefer free/open source, however, not opposed to purchasing closed source software from reputable source. 

CLI / installing python scripts, etc is doable too

Reading the blurb of linked app, it organises folders by file extension?

You could write something in PowerShell… No better way to learn scripting than solving a problem.

If I want to merge folder trees that have a similar structure, Beyond Compare is always my first choice. It's not free but it's awesome.

If I want to just scan a whole drive/folder and find duplicates that are taking up space, I like Czkawka.
