Hey guys! Here's the trailer for the game I've been working on for the past few months! It's basically Silent Hill meets Blue Prince. Let me know what you think!

Looking pretty good! Keep it up. Always loved the Silent Hill series. Actually looking forward to the new one releasing in August and per-ordered it.

Would love to see updates on this as well!

Thanks Steven! Wouldn't mind getting a news article about it 😅

Fair shout! But the best way to get this on our news side would be to have Pulasti @LoneWolfSLhave a crack at Early Access when its in a playable state :)

Looks interesting, I love the art style. How many people are working on the game?

Thanks! I've been solo for the most part, 90% of what you see in the trailer is all me, recently just found a modeler that helped out with a couple of props (like the VCR) from the trailer and I have somebody who helps me with game design and story.

Well, unfortunately, I'm unable to test, because my current clunker doesn't support DX12. But, I tried!

Ahh that's a shame, but yeah... this is a full blown UE5 game with Lumen and all that.

Awesome! Can't wait to hear your thoughts :)

Played it tonight for about 30 mins.

I like the atmosphere, I really liked the music, I loved how her face in the intro is blurred behind the setting screen.

All I found in the game before the counter got to zero was a roll of film, a teady bear and some keys. Didn't.

Once I got down to 0, the music stopped for a few second and it was a really unsettling feeling, in a good creepy kind of way.

Also the TV room with the lights off is creepy as fuk.

I was trying all sorts of combinations on that lock in the bedroom, from a couple numbers I saw around the house. No luck.

Over all, not bad. Impressive as a mostly single effort! Good job! Proud of ya!

Thanks! :) I'll give you one hint: Clocks.

    • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
