Too many times BF6 played in 24 hours 🫢

Playing it on the same device each time? Any IP changes during that time?

Netflix does something similar to me occasionally even though I'm playing by their rules.

Also, I think the game officially launched yesterday. Their servers are probably getting hammered and this is a generic message to make sure their servers can support the load. I'd prefer if they just said that rather than the message that you received, but I don't expect the AAA companies to be that open about things these days.

Nope. Same notebook, same IP.

I guess it's there servers though.
Though I'm not really sure how the GeForce NOW and EA are working together on this (with syncing or account login sync)?!

I can play it on my locally installed EA app. That's a 'plus', but "less" impressive given the graphics (RTX 2060 vs RTX 5080 at GeForce's servers).

Hahaha... and now what?!

Played it via GeForce NOW. Does this have something to do with it? (or might have?)

It's their anti-tamper/anti-cheat.  Some single player games have the same issue now; I think RE Village had it via Denuvo for a while and reviewers especially encountered it if they were bench-marking the game on different setups.  Some folks on Steam Deck and Linux have even ran into issues occasionally if a game doesn't work correctly out of the box because switching Proton versions registers as an entirely different machine as far as the anti-cheat is concerned.

I don't suppose you're using the same licence code to play both locally and via GeForce Now?

That would be the cause in my mind. Two different computers trying to use the same code.

But I can't be sure, I don't know how the licencing works these days.

Think it looks like this indeed. GFN is more stable now, so let’s go with that.
