WordPress 6.9 BETA 1 is out now - the community is invited to test the new version - with all its new features - Testing for issues is a critical part of developing any software, and it’s a meaningful way for anyone to contribute. So youre just invited to help and contribute. The release of WordPress 6.9 is planned for December 2, 2025. It will include many changes and innovations – for example, in the site editor and in performance. New AI functionality is also being introduced. There are many new features in the area of template design – including new blocks and much more.

just  want to share this with you... - since this is a good news:  the second major-release is on its way. 

 

All in all, WordPress 6.9 comes with many interesting new features. If you want to test these new features now, you can do so now.

Test the BETA1 :: This beta release is intended for testing and development only. Please do not install, run, or test this version of WordPress on production or mission-critical websites. Instead, use a test environment or local site to explore the new features.
