I use this notebook for gaming, and regular stuff like MS Office, Adobe, browsing etc.

The G635 is around €700 more than my current one. Does this sounds like a good alternative?
(maybe even with some exta pay-up from my side)

Well.... long story short:

The 2nd mobo was DOA (or had liquid metal on the board) - with 2 times a repair.

Finally got it replaced - with loooots of frustration - by a new model & make (same G614FR).

Hopefully, this one lasts longer than 2-3 weeks.

      I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.

      CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
